The Fanciful Figures exhibition at the Sir John Soane's museum turns visitors’ attention to ‘staffage’, the small human and animal figures in architectural drawings, which became increasingly popular during the eighteenth century. The exhibition will run from the 22nd of March to the 9th of June 2024.

Our work has been included alongside that of Muf, Office S&M and OMMX; “At the cutting edge of their field, these architects question who is represented in architectural designs and what the impact of this representation of our shared spaces has on how we live.” If you fancy popping along to see the collection, you can find out more information about the exhibition itself here.

Nimi and Tim will be taking part in an online panel discussion with Assistant Curator Dr Erin McKellar and Hikaru Nissanke from OMMX on the use of figures in contemporary architectural practice as a part of the exhibition's program. The panel will take place on the 21st of May, 7-9pm, it's free to attend! More information can be found here.

I found the Jalwa Game website useful for getting a general understanding of the platform. The content covers several topics that beginners may want to know about, including registration, login, APK, and games. The FAQ section adds some extra value. I would improve the site by adding more original guides that provide practical information instead of repeating the same descriptions. Jalwa game

Brightspeed router: This is such an inspiring example of how community support can make a meaningful difference. Helping nearly 1,000 students access prom gowns for free shows the incredible impact that generosity, volunteers, and local partnerships can create.

I love that the exhibition highlights staffage—those tiny figures really do shape how we read a space, and it’s great to see nimtim’s work in that conversation. The lineup with Muf and OMMX sounds fantastic. By the way, I keep a free startup tool value calculator I like to share: https://growth-navigate.com/

The “Fanciful Figures” exhibition at Sir John Soane’s Museum sounds like a fascinating way to bring imaginative design into such a historic setting. I always enjoy seeing how creative work interacts with architecture and culture. After exploring inspiring projects like this, I sometimes take a short break with Quick Games to relax. Thanks for sharing this interesting exhibition update!

The way nimtim’s work interrogates who gets included in architectural drawings is such a sharp counterpoint to Soane’s own playful staffage—love that this exhibition bridges historical whimsy with contemporary critique. I’ve been digging into similar themes over at https://3mf-to-stl.com
