Our 'a house in gardens' project receives Planning Approval from Southwark - The roof pitch is raised on all sides to transform a previously unused loft space into a master bedroom, study and shower room. Large rooflights provide long views of the surrounding treetops and are used to ventilate and passively cool the space.

This project is pure serene perfection! I absolutely love how nimtim handled the transition between the indoor living spaces and the garden. The blurred boundaries, the cascading greenery, and the abundance of natural light create such a profoundly relaxing atmosphere. In today's fast-paced urban life, having a home that allows you to slow down is everything. Reading this piece honestly painted a beautiful picture in my mind: lounging by that sunlit window, sipping tea, and mindlessly scrolling through a few casual browser games on minigame to pass a quiet afternoon. In a house so deeply connected to nature, even the simplest digital escape would feel incredibly therapeutic. Thank you for sharing such a inspiring piece of architecture!
If you like physics based driving games, you might also enjoy Drive Mad. The gameplay is quite minimal but the level design gets tricky after a few stages. I found a playable version here https://drivemadgame.cc/ and it works well on desktop browsers.
This project is a thoughtful example of how smart design and planning can transform an unused loft into a bright, functional living space that Retro Bowl connects beautifully with its green surroundings.
