Guerrilla Tactics is RIBA’s annual flagship conference for small and medium sized architectural practices. This event provides information with a focus on essential business skills for architects, and how they can develop their practices through innovation. This year's conference explored the agility of small practices, discussing how practices can continue to be resilient no matter the climate.
Nimi was invited to be on this years steering group alongside the incredible, Jen Forakis, Paul Bulkeley, Su Stringfellow, Sarah Broadstock, Tom Bell and Will Mawson. You can find out more information about the conference here.
Nimi's role in the Guerrilla Tactics program sounds exciting! It reminds me of how immersive experiences can reshape our perspectives, like when I first played “run 3” and discovered new pathways. Can't wait to see the innovative ideas that emerge!
Congrats, Nimi—excited to follow how the conference supports small practices with real tools and strategy. By the way, if you’re looking for a quick break between sessions, I’ve been enjoying free online games that are super easy to jump into.
Use search terms like "Drift Boss Game" or "The drift boss" to find other online versions of the game. Whatever you spell it, the fun game is still playable.
2048 is excellent for developing pattern recognition because every move requires players to observe the board carefully and identify useful tile combinations. With practice, players become better at spotting emerging patterns, predicting possible merges, and making smarter decisions before the board becomes crowded.
Every swing requires perfect timing, quick reactions, and a strong sense of momentum.
