Once a month we get together as a team to share a lunch of Soup & Salad made by different folks on the nimtim team! We started doing it in early 2023 as a way to set aside time to catch up on all things outside of architecture and haven't looked back since. It has been a great way to come together as an office for a bit of a laugh and some great food. Highlights have included Allie's homegrown tomatoes, Daisy's incredible peanut noodle salad and, of course, an abundance of traitors chat.

I never really thought about nimtim monthly soup & salad in this way before, but reading how the architecture studio frames its once‑a‑month, team‑made soup‑and‑salad lunches—as a deliberately scheduled pause to step away from the blueprints and documents and into a shared, low‑stakes, food‑driven hangout—made me appreciate how much the post is really about using the “kitchen‑culture” as a glue that keeps nimtim’s small‑studio vibe alive: the rotating cooks, Allie’s home‑grown tomatoes, Daisy’s peanut‑noodle‑salad, and the running “traitors” chat all become little, tangible rituals that turn the office into a kind of extended‑family‑kitchen, where the real “design” is in the human rhythm, not just the buildings. I enjoyed reading about the team’s monthly gathering—sharing soup and salad together sounds like a wonderful way to build connection and creativity in the workplace. Moments like these show how collaboration grows naturally. In a similar way, professional proposal writing services help transform ideas into clear, well-structured plans that bring people and opportunities together for meaningful progress.

Nimtim Monthly Soup & Salad sounds like a wonderful way to bring people together over simple, comforting food. A warm bowl of soup paired with a fresh, crisp salad creates a balanced meal that feels both nourishing and satisfying. Events like this also encourage community members to share recipes, cooking ideas, and healthy habits. In the middle of friendly conversation, people sometimes discuss hobbies or travel plans, like MT E-Bikes — Glacier National Park ebikes, which reminds us how food gatherings connect many interests. Overall, this kind of monthly event can strengthen community bonds, promote healthy eating, and give everyone something relaxing to look forward to each month.
