Southwark Design Event 2: Making Space for Girls

Following on from our first design event this time the event focused on ‘making space for girls’ and tailored towards young women aged 11-18 living on the current estate. We used emoji stickers as a conversation starter about lived experience and emotional value of local public spaces.
It's refreshing to see a focus on making local areas work better for girls, whose needs are so often overlooked in urban planning.
